Cars
Went to see Cars last night. I am still surprised at how well the folks at Pixar can put together a movie. They have such an amazing sense of craft, that it's easy to forget you are watching an animation. You also get the sense that they genuinely took interest in Route 66 and the age of driving. It is just such a pleasure to witness this craftsmanship at work.

We loved Cars too---and we are NASCAR fans! :) My hubby will make a redneck out of me yet!
Driving Route 66 would make an interesting vacation sometime--who know maybe there's a drive-in movie theater somewhere on route!
There is still one drive-in left outside of Toledo. We used to go there, the Sundance Kid. It was pretty cool, since it was one of the only theatres that I have been to that makes ALL the popcorn fresh. They also had a really good pizza.
